DUAL FILTRATION
MECHANICAL FILTER
This captures the suspended solids from the water as it filters down to the biological filter below. It is a filter that is durable and easy to clean. There is a high level overflow which, when the water reaches the point, indicates that the filters need to be cleaned.

FOG TRAPS
Fat, Oil & Grease Traps by WATERfirst
WHAT DOES
IT DO?
F.O.G. Traps prevent drains from becoming blocked up with emulsified fats. They are fitted with a series of baffles which keep the emulsified fats, oil and grease back to that cleaner water can enter the sewer lines. These systems are vital to install in environments like restaurants where fats and grease can accumulate quickly and cause plumbing nightmares.
The WATERfirst F.O.G. trap consist of two compartments each fitted with baffles to keep the fat, oil and grease contained in the F.O.G. trap.
The first compartment has a screen in it which captures the solid
particles in waste water.
The screen needs to be regularly cleaned to keep the F.O.G trap running efficiently
